Product Summary
The SN74159N is a 4-line to 16-line decoder/demultiplexer with open-collector outputs. It uses TTL circuitry to decode four binary-coded inputs into one of sixteen mutually exclusive open-collector outputs when both the strobe inputs, G1 and G2 are low. The SN74159N is suited for implementing MOS memory decoding or for interfacing with discrete memory address drivers. The SN74159N is characterized for operation from 0 to 70℃.
